I was listening to a sermon the other day and it really touched my heart. The pastor was saying how we sometimes have a total collapse. We completley screwed up, and maybe hurt someone bad. But it doesn't mean that we should quit. We have to trust God to pick us back up and to keep looking forward. We need to forgive and forget about the past. It's in the past and there's no reason to bring hardships back. It says in the bible about peter's pride. He kept arguing with the
son of GOD that he wouldn't fall away from Jesus. Even though Jesus kept telling him that peter would fall. And Peter did. He denied Jesus three times. But did that stop him? NO! He trusted Jesus to pick him back up, and Peter kept looking forward. The disiples kept remembering that Peter denied Jesus, and Jesus told them that he forgave Peter, and so should they. So exactly what was the pastor saying? If you fall, raise your to heaven, and pray to God that He'll pick you back up and point you in the right direction. And trust me, God will!
